Our Curriculum 2013-2014

Hi everyone! This is our FIRST year homeschooling, so I thought I would share what I have decided for my girls!



 So without further ado, here is our curriculum line up for the 2013-2014 school year!



Addie (Tot School)

Printables: ABCs from 1+1+1=1
Coloring and Crafts
Educational Play with toys and Tot Trays

Lily (1st Grade)

Math: Math U See (Starting with Alpha, then Beta. Only doing Alpha because she counts on fingers)
Reading: Explode the Code (starting on Book 4) & Reading books from Library
Grammar: 1st Language Lessons 1 - M/W/F
Writing: Writing with Ease
Science: BJU Science Grade 3 with Experiments T/TH
History: Story of the Word Vol 1 T/TH
Spelling: Sight Word with worksheets at spellingcity.com M/W/F
Bible: DLTK program and reading Adventures Bible  M/W/F
Spanish:Elementary worksheets and http://www.spanishprograms.com/  T/TH
Art: Pinterest pins and crafts





Hailey (3rd grade, 2nd grade in reading/handwriting trying to catch up)

  1. Curriculum looks great and keep it simple. You don't have to do everything everyday. Science can be 2 days a week and History twice a week and spend longer time each day. I always kept the 3 R's daily because if they can read well and express themselves verbally and eventually in writing, then they can do anything and study anything they want to learn throughout life.

  2. Oh I didnt put that :X We are doing Science and History and Spanish 2x a week. Spelling, Bible, and Grammar 3x a week. :)
